Clients & Experience

For over ten years, Work Profiling has been implemented across a variety of industries, geographies, companies and cultures.

1995: Ideas about the Work Profiling process are first documented.

1997: Work Profiling software and template-based processes are installed for a 1,300 member multi-national company.

1998: Work Profiling is awarded "Most Innovative Application of Knowledge Management" by the Delphi Group.

1998-today: Work Profiling is employed by Knowledge Harvesting consultants as an effective way to quickly capture essential information about how a subject matter expert performs his or her work.

1999-2003: Work Profiling is delivered as a stand-alone "Kit" for a wide variety of domains and disciplines. Kits are tweaked to experiment with the amount of time required and information collected.

2004: The second generation of Work Profiling software is integrated with Microsoft SharePoint.

2007: Programming for the third generation of Work Profiling software begins, using Java-based visualizations and XML data structures.

Work Profiling is ideally suited for results-driven organizations (large, small, for-profit, non-profit, or government) which are open to including the cultural requirements of an organization (the ethical and other limits of how work is accomplished.) The real magic is that Work Profiling delivers transparency in the performance management process. This engenders trust, reduces organizational drag, and builds confidence at and between all levels.
